Claim fees

Article 22 c) of An Act Respecting Collective agreement Decrees provides that the Parity Committee may:

(c) To recover from the professional employer who violates the provisions of a decree relating to wages an amount equal to 20% of the difference between the compulsory wage and that actually paid;

In order to promote the faster settlement of files, claims that are issued following a regular inspection or following the verification of monthly reports do not initially include a 20% fee. These fees are added at the end of the given deadline, if the claim has to be sent to our lawyers for prosecution.

IMPORTANT: In the case of claims following complaints from employees, the 20% fee is always added as soon as the claims are issued.
