New Decree in force

A new Decree came into effect today, date of its publication in the Gazette officielle du Québec.

The Decree respecting building service employees in the Montreal region has been amended to reflect the changes negotiated in the collective agreement between the Union des employés(e)s de service, Local 800 – FTQ, and the Association des entrepreneurs de services d’édifices Québec Inc.

The first salary increase takes effect today, March 4, 2026, as does the decrease for the RRSP contribution.

It is important to note that today’s salary increase is not retroactive,
