Prepublication of the proposed modifications to the Decree

The proposed modifications to the Decree were published in the Gazette officielle du Québec on November 5, 2025, for a 45-day consultation period.

Following the 45-day consultation period, the government will proceed with the final publication, according to a schedule it will determine. The new hourly rates will only come into effect upon this final publication.

Since the Parity Committee has no control over the final publication date, we are unable to inform you in advance of the date on which the increases will take effect. We will only be able to notify you on the day they take effect.
