Privacy policy for Compt'Heures

PRIVACY POLICY OF THE PARITY COMMITTEE FOR THE BUILDING SERVICES - MONTREAL REGION - REGARDING THE COMPT'HEURES APPLICATION

The Parity Committee for the Building Services - Montreal Region (hereinafter, the Committee), is concerned about the protection of the information that is transferred to us as well as the respect for your private life. As a result, the Committee rigorously monitors the manner in which personal information is used and disclosed.

This Privacy Statement sets out the Committee's privacy policy in relation to the Compt'heures application. By downloading the Compt'heures application, you agree to comply with the practices outlined in this Privacy and Security Statement.

INFORMATION THAT THE COMMITTEE COLLECTS ON ITS COMPT'HEURES USERS

The download of the Compt'heures application requires no information that may lead to your identity.

Following the download of the Compt'heures application, the Committee receives and processes all the information that you enter and provide us via the application. Note however, that this information is not stored on the Committee's server. The information allows the Committee to generate an Excel spreadsheet for the use of the user. The user must supply an email address to enable the Committee's server to send the report; note that nor the user's email, nor the information transmitted, is stored on the Committee's server.

All the information entered by the user, in the application, is stored on the user's phone.

PROTECTION OF PERSONNAL INFORMATION

The Committee implemented security measures to protect you against the loss or the unauthorized use of information that concerns you when transmitting them to the Committee.

The Compt'heures server uses a security technology which encrypts the information when transmitting it (SSL encryption 2048 bits) and ensures that the transmission is highly secure.

All your personal information is encrypted by SSL, the moment it is entered, which makes it impossible to read when it is being transferred via the internet.

Furthermore, the server used by the Committee for the Compt'heures is protected by a technology similar to that of the firewall technology. The Committee is committed to ensure the regular update of its equipment to keep an adequate level of security.

The Committee reserves the right to modify the following policy at any time.
